Well
the “Other” news this week is that petrol goes up 75c a liter next Wednesday, 75
Frikken cents, “that’s harsh”. Means that everything else is going to go up in
price, I don’t know who the F&&^%ker is who works out the price, but he
always seems to pick the day when the Rand/Dollar exchange rate is at its worst
and the price of crude oil is at its highest.
Only a small part of the increase is for the actual petrol price, the
rest goes to “dark holes” that we have no control over.
SASOL
is a company that was built in the 80’s when we had oil sanctions against us,
it was developed to make petrol from coal, this they did successfully. My
question is “why if they make petrol from coal, do they still charge us the
petrol from oil price that is based on exchange rate and price of a barrel of
crude oil”? as yet not been explained to
me in a manner that will convince me that we
are not being bent over and ..........................”u get the
picture.
Well
as can be imagined this week has been dominated by the Oscar Pistorius ‘did he
or did he not know it was Revva in the bathroom and did he or did he not
premeditate killing her” . Reeva was cremated on Tuesday at a local crematorium
(Port Elizabeth)and it was the start of Oscar’s trial, sorry meant bail
hearing, but it did become a trial within a bail hearing as the state wanted to
have bail denied and tried to prove that he did in fact pre-meditate the
shooting of Reeva and the defence on the other hand had the investigating
officer taken off the case due to the fact he shot at a mini bus taxi a while back and is in court later this
year to answer those charges . Oscar has lost all of his sponsorship's and its
cost him R700 000 just this week in lawyer fees, really need to think before
you shoot your girlfriend through a closed bathroom door. But hey I can see a
book and a movie deal coming out of this one, seems that the famous can always
make money........”Good or bad”. Can u imagine how ironic it would be if a
movie was made and it was nominated for an Academy award and it won, And the Oscar
goes to................................ “Jail”
On Friday
he was given bail for R1. 00 and had his legs taken away, is not allowed to
shoot anyone else prior to his trial and may not flee to another country .............”Just joking”
here are the bail conditions Bail was set at R1m,
R100 000 of which was paid to secure Pretorius's release. The balance must be
paid by 1 March. Pistorius was whisked away in a Land Rover soon after the
payment was made, as media gave chase. The strict bail conditions include that
he not be charged with any offence relating to violence against women. He would
not be allowed to return to Silver Woods country estate, scene of the shooting,
unless accompanied by the estate manager; he has to surrender his passport; he
cannot apply for travel documents; he must report to the Brooklyn police
station on Mondays and Fridays at set times; and he can't take banned
substances, drugs or alcohol.
To be honest I am all Oscar’d out, let the law take its course and
he needs to deal with where the chips fall. All I know is that if it where my daughter
he would not need a bail hearing or a trial, I would not “unlike Reeva’s dad
has indicated he may be able to do” Forgive, just isn’t in my nature. Accidents
do happen that’s for sure, but this was no accident and
........................well let’s just leave it there.
News
just in, seems that killing women whether by accident or intentionally runs in
the Pistorius family: Pretoria - The brother of
Paralympian star Oscar Pistorius is
facing a charge of culpable homicide and was set to begin his trial last week. This
was revealed by e-News Channel Africa (eNCA) on Eyewitness news charge on Sunday morning.
Carl Pistorius was allegedly involved in a collision
with a female biker in 2010. His trail would have started on Thursday, a day
before his brother was granted bail in the high-profile case against him
following the shooting death of the athlete’s model girlfriend on 14 February
2013. A legal representative confirmed that Carl’s case was postponed to March
and said he was confident Carl would
be acquitted.
Not sure
if you're aware of this but we have a large number of South Africans training in
Cuba to become Dr’s, seems that it’s a combined initiative between the SA and
Cuban governments. Anyway here is the news reports regards these ungrateful
swine.
Aaron Motsoaledi about to sing for his supper |
Johannesburg - Health Minister Aaron Motsoaledi has written
letters to South African medical students in Cuba who embarked on an illegal
strike, defining the government's position on the strike, his department said
on Thursday. On February 7, 187 of the 1 200 South African students studying
medicine in Cuba went on strike, spokesperson Joe Maila said in a statement. Their
demands include a more than 300-percent stipend increase, that a health attache
be sent to Cuba, and that they no longer want to be served any meal that
contains pork. “In dealing with this matter the department suspected that there
might also be problems of cultural differences, adaptability and perhaps
psychosocial changes, which make it difficult for them to cope with their
studies,” he said.
“In this regard, the department
promptly dispatched a team consisting of a senior social worker, a senior
psychologist, HR manager and a doctor... to assist the students accordingly.” He
said the team joined the ambassador in Cuba, academic staff at the university
and the Cuban government to negotiate with the students. During the
negotiations the students gave the embassy two ultimatums, Maila added.
“That the ambassador sign a
document that these demands will be met or they come back home,” he said. “Ever
since the South African-Cuban medical programme started, South Africa has never
had a health attache in Cuba. The minister decided last year already to
appoint, and sent a health attache to Cuba.”
The attache was expected to start
in January but had to complete other commitments, and the department said it
was “ not understandable why this matter is arising” because a decision was
made a long time ago. He added that on
the issue of food, it has always been a matter negotiated between students and
universities, even in South Africa. “Up to now we know of no student who has to
abandon studies because such a matter was not resolved. Our students in Cuba
are usually served alternate diets consisting of beef, chicken or pork.”
“However, for the two or three
weeks, the Cuban government had problems in acquiring beef and chicken, hence
they could only serve what was available, which was pork,” he added. Maila
added that the stipend would not change as accommodation, food, transport and
tuition is jointly sponsored by the two governments.
“For the students to firmly believe
that if such a demand is not met they rather come back home, have left the
minister with no option but to grant them their wish, because under no
condition will the government be willing to meet such an outrageous and unreasonable
demand of $700 (about R6 200) per month.
“In the letter written to
individual students, the minister has stated this point unambiguously and
emphasised that at no stage will such a demand ever be entertained,” he said. The
students currently receive a stipend of $200 (about R1 800). – Sapa: as I said ungrateful
sods, the average Cuban family would love to have $200 to spend on a monthly
basis but many live on less than that and still have to pay for food, transport
etc.......................just send the Shits home and make them pay back what
it has already cost the two governments to train, house and feed them so far.
Talking
about Dr’s seems that in the UK you will now be tested and have to pass an test
that shows you can speak, read and write English prior to you being let loose
on the unsuspecting public after a German Locum practising in the UK killed a
pensioner by giving him 10 times the recommended dose of a pain killer. So you
have to speak English in England to
become a Dr, perhaps this will also spill over to teachers, lawyers, policemen..................??
Super
15 at the Bay started this Saturday with the Super Kings taking on the Western
Force , Sharks beat Cheetahs 29/22 and
the Bulls beat the Stormers 25/17
This what the news reports said about the Kings/Western
Force game: The Southern Kings gave themselves a
dream welcome to Vodacom Super Rugby with a passionate performance to beat the
Western Force 22-10 at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on
Saturday. Confounding their critics and shocking the rest of the competition,
the Kings were out to give the rest of the rugby world a firm message that they
belonged in Super Rugby, no matter who disagreed with them. And while the
merits of that argument have not been settled and are in particular dispute in
places like Johannesburg, there is no doubting they produced a sensational game
to grind out a win against the Australian side. Two tries by Sergeal Peterson,
who three months ago was still putting on his school uniform, plus some heroic
tackling and seizing opportunities when they came, made it a night to remember
for the new franchise.
Sergeal Peterson |
I
was there what a night to remember, we sat in front of Sergeals classmates from
last year and we had a ball with much celebrating and signing going on when he
scored not only 1 but 2 tries, so to all
those assholes out there that said we don’t deserve a Super 15 team and that we
would not win a game................”Up yours” yeah it’s a long season and 1
swallow a summer does not make, as they say in the classics, but no matter what
happens the rest of the season, we have at least done better than the Lions 2
seasons ago who lost every single Super 15 match.
Thought
would just pop this in to remind us about how great and Peaceful Islam is and
why so many Muslim men want to protect Sharia law
SHARIA LAW AND SLAVERY
Islam's
Black Slaves notes: "the Quran stipulated that female slaves
might lawfully be enjoyed by their masters." Mohammad himself owned
many slaves, some of whom he captured in wars of conquest and some he
purchased. The names of forty slaves owned by Mohammad are recorded by
Muslim chroniclers. Islamic law (Sharia) contains elaborate regulations
for slavery. A slave had no right to be heard in court (testimony was
forbidden by slaves), slaves had no right to property, could marry only with
the permission of the owner, and were considered to be chattel, that is the movable
property, of the slave owner. Muslim slave owners were specifically
entitled by Sharia law to sexually exploit their slaves, including hiring
them out as prostitutes.
One
reason why very little has been written about the Arab involvement in slavery
is that traditional Islamic culture still condones slavery. The Sharia,
the codified Islamic law which is based upon the teachings and example of
Mohammad, contains explicit regulations for slavery. One of the primary
principles of Islam is following the example of Mohammad. Whatever
Mohammad did, we must do, what he forbade, we must forbid, what he did not
forbid, we may not forbid. As Mohammad himself traded in slaves and owned
slaves, accumulating multiple wives, even marrying a six year old, and having
concubines - slavery and the sexual exploitation of women is deeply ingrained
in Islamic tradition. Muslim nations had engaged in the slave trade for
over 600 years before Europe became involved in the Trans-Atlantic slave
trade.
SLAVERY TODAY
Almost
200 years after the British outlawed the slave trade in 1807, slave raids and
the sale of slaves in Muslim markets continues in countries like Sudan.
The slave trade remained legal in Saudi Arabia until 1962, when under
international pressure it was finally abolished. However, there are
persistent, credible reports, that slavery persists in Saudi Arabia, and even
that slaves from Sudan are ending up in Saudi Arabia. Recently, a former slave from the Nuba Mountains
of Sudan, Mende Nazer, had her autobiography: "Slave: My
True Story" published. Mende was captured in 1992, she
was first a slave to a rich Arab family in Khartoum, and then in 2002 to a
Sudanese diplomat in London, from whom she escaped and sought political
asylum.
Imagine living on a street with
this name, so what’s your address madam? “Oh I live at number 69 Cocks Complex Blue
waters Port Elizabeth officer”. Great address to run a brothel from don’t you
think, not one that you would want to tell the local Dominee or your kids
nursery school teacher. (was taken in Blue water bay PE)
Well
that's about it for this week, got a busy week ahead
Ciao
